My hop from Feed Reader to Bloglines to follow my feeds from anywhere, hasn’t been satisfactory. Neither their current interface nor the new beta version feel like a better design. Maybe it wasn’t what I was looking for. So after looking at a few other services, now I’ve settled on Netvibes. Although it is not perfect, it is probably what I need. The best thing about it, is the ability to follow updates from all my favorite sites, feeds & email. It also gives me the ability to keep a tab on my TODO’s & other miscellaneous stuff. It is probably similar to iGoogle or MyYahoo but had enough of their stuff. So for now it is Netvibes guys.. Go try it out if you are looking for a similar service.

Another alternative start page website is Odysen, at http://www.odysen.com.
A couple of the key differences include 1) ability to integrate as many news feeds as you want into one widget (makes it more efficient), 2) free-formatting widgets allow you to easily change the size of any widget to whatever you feel is the most appropriate for the content.
To see more or check out a bunch of page examples, there’s a blog available at http://odysen.blogspot.com/.
